We are a 13-19 High School in an attractive, semi-rural location in South Staffordshire with 750 students on roll.
The school is part of the Penk Valley Academy Trust along with 4 other schools based in the local area: Marshbrook First School, Princefield First School, St John’s (CE) First School and Penkridge Middle School.
For January 2019, we are looking to recruit a dedicated teacher of Science. This position would suit a teacher who has a passion for working with young people and is committed to making a difference to their future.
We have large numbers opting for Biology, Chemistry and Physics at A Level. At GCSE approximately a third of students take separate sciences. In 2018, 88% of pupils passed one science (at 4+) and 77% passed two.
All our teachers have been trained in visible learning and we are the first school in the country to have achieve the Visible Learning Partner School Award.
