The Post
The Headteacher and Governors at All Saints Catholic School are seeking to appoint a dedicated professional teacher of Science with a specialism of Physics. The successful candidate will be joining a dynamic, hardworking and ambitious department, teaching across Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5.
• Science is about investigating how the natural world works. Our Science courses are designed to engage students' interests at every level by providing relevant and inspiring academic content and practical opportunities to undertake scientific enquiry and learn about the scientific process.
• Our science qualifications provide choice and flexibility to suit students of different abilities and aptitudes, supporting them from understanding the basics to going on to pursue a career in science. We offer both combined and separate sciences at GCSE, A Levels in Biology, Chemistry and Physics and CTEC Applied Science.
• Science lessons are taught in our fully equipped specialised Science block.
Our School
All Saints Catholic School is a large Outstanding Catholic comprehensive school situated in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham and within the Diocese of Brentwood, with good transport links to central London. We are a high achieving 11 -18 mixed school with excellent examination results. We have received an Educational Outcomes award for being in the top 12 percent of schools in the country for progress.
