We are looking for a dynamic and aspirational teacher to join our Science department.
We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic teacher who will embrace our ethos, contribute to school improvement plans and raising standards in Science, work hard to help students make good progress and spread a passion for Science and promote aspiration for STEM career pathways.
Applications are welcome from newly qualified teachers, as well as those wanting to broaden their experience.
The successful candidate will teach general science and, ideally, have a specialism in Biology. They will be able to inspire, enthuse, engage, motivate and challenge students to raise achievement at all levels within a school culture of high performance and expectations of both staff and students.
We expect successful candidates to show within their application, and at interview, their passion for working with young people and be able to explain how they will embrace and support the school’s ethos.
If you feel you have the qualities we are looking for please speak to Mrs Shelley Lockett, Faculty Leader for Science, for information about the department, or to arrange an informal visit. Applications should be submitted by 2pm on Friday 18th May 2018. Candidates selected for interview will be contacted by email promptly.
The school operates a Safeguarding Children Recruitment Policy and is committed to promoting the welfare of young people. The successful applicant will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS disclosure.
