Job overview

Located in a rural setting near to Kilton Thorpe in East Cleveland, Old Farm School offers a bespoke curriculum for up to 30 pupils aged between 11-19 years old who often have Social Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH).

The carefully planned rural environment and engaging, personalised curriculum on offer at Old Farm School is tailored towards meeting the needs of children with SEMH. The location, learning environment and curriculum of Old Farm School allows children to revisit those developmental areas that have not been secured and offers them the learning experiences necessary to progress through the stages, which are vital when building the foundations for future development and learning.

We are looking for a talented, dynamic and inspirational Teacher of Sciences who will support, challenge and motivate our pupils to get the very best outcomes and who understands that behaviour is a method of communication.
