This is an opportunity to join a focused enthusiastic team. In 2018, 81% of year 11 students achieved 99-44 in double award science and 68%, 72% and 65% in biology, chemistry and physics respectively. We have a very strong uptake of sciences at KS5. In 2018, 79% of students at A2 achieved A*-C in biology, 79% in chemistry and 89% in physics.
Our Science Department
The department is based in a purpose-built building designed to meet the requirements of modern science teaching, with 12 fully equipped laboratories and two well stocked preparation rooms. Each laboratory is installed with a projector, and a wireless keyboard and mouse. The department also has a class set of netbooks and chromebooks for use with students and ICT rooms are available to book in the Computing department. We have wireless internet access throughout the department and many software packages installed on the school network.

NQT's & CPD
NQTs benefit from a well developed and comprehensive induction period programme. More experienced teachers are given the opportunity to participate in training which will help them to develop skills needed for middle and senior management roles.

Life in Redhill & Surrey
The school is situated in Redhill, a commuter belt town in the Surrey Fringe area. We are close to the M25 and there are good transport links to London and the South Coast from Redhill station which is about 15 minutes walk from the school. We also benefit from being within walking distance of beautiful countryside .
Many staff live locally, others commute from Guildford, South London, Kent and East & West Sussex.
