Teacher of Science | September 2018 | Rugby High School
We are delighted to offer the opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher of Science to join our thriving department from September 2018. Science is one of our most popular subjects; our students are bright girls who are engaged with their learning and want to make the most of the opportunities available. We welcome applications from science specialists able to teach Chemistry and either Biology or Physics to GCSE. A level teaching will be available in 2019 for a suitably qualified candidate.
Rugby High School is an 11-18 girls’ grammar school with 842 students on roll. Twice judged outstanding by Ofsted, the school has a large Sixth Form with many students going on to study science at university; more than 50% of students accept places at Russell Group universities each year.
This post would be suitable for an NQT as well as for experienced colleagues seeking a new challenge. We offer a full induction programme, extensive professional development opportunities and a rich menu of extra-curricular activities.
• Are you enthusiastic about your subject?
