We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated and talented teacher of Science to join “Team Rushden”
This is a school that is rapidly improving, ideal for a teacher with drive, moral purpose and a determination to make a difference. Science is a popular subject in the school amongst students.
We require someone who can work with us to build on our success. Someone who can both challenge and support our students and work as a team member in an atmosphere of mutual trust and respect.
The 2017 Ofsted Monitoring Report recognised that "Team Rushden permeates all aspects of school life" with leaders being "completely involved in all aspects of the schools work."
Rushden Academy joined Tove Learning Trust on 1 May 2018 Trust along with three other local secondary schools (Northants and Milton Keynes). Already we have been well supported by the Trust, there is an excellent opportunity to collaborate and develop professionally across the Trust.
We have an extensive CPD programme at Rushden Academy. Many of our staff have opportunities to grow within, to gain national qualifications and fast track to leadership positions.
Rushden Academy are also part of the East Northamptonshire College (TENC). We have a special relationship with our two local secondary schools, sharing our expertise not only at KS5 but also at KS4 with cross moderation and quality assurance systems.
On site we have available a staff nursery that has been graded outstanding. Term time periods only – many of our current staff use this excellent facility.
