TEACHER OF SCIENCE

MPS – (£25,714 - £36,961)

WE ARE AMBROSE. MAKE US YOUR AMBROSE.

A clear and inspiring vision… exemplary quality of relationships… a family atmosphere in which each person is valued… exceptional quality of pastoral care founded on  highly inclusive Catholic values (Section 48 Inspection, March 2019)

We are seeking a talented and high effective Teacher of Science.  You will join a departmental team on our journey to excellence, securing further school improvement and the best outcomes for our young people.

We have a very strong sense of vision for our school and are keen to share this with you so that you can assess whether we are the right school for you.  We believe that this appointment is as much about personal qualities and character as it is about experience and skill.

We value a strong ethic of service, care for all young people regardless of circumstance or background and a deep commitment to personal development and professional learning.

We are an inclusive Catholic community: any successful community depends of the quality of its relationships and prioritising wellbeing.   Developing and nurturing staff is key to our future development and success, we’re not just about growing great staff, but growing great people.

This is an ideal time to join the school as we return to being an 11-16 institution, keenly focused on being an excellent place to work, learn and achieve.

In advance of applying you are strongly encouraged to meet or speak with Ben Davis, Headteacher who will take the time to discuss the role, the school and the wider opportunities this post offers.

We are a proud Catholic 11-16 high school serving a broad catchment across the City of Salford, minutes from Manchester city centre.  You will have a belief in the transformational power of compassion, care and excellence and the skills and experience to effect change in our pupils’ lives.  You will also prize relationships as the foundation of an inclusive, Catholic education and will want to bring learning to life within and outside the classroom.

We have a clear vision, excellent facilities, a welcoming environment and a deep commitment to the development of all members of our community.  If you would like to be part of the next stage of journey we would love to hear from you.

Ben Davis, Headteacher
