From September 2016 the Governors wish to appoint a committed, enthusiastic and well-qualified teacher of Science to join a lively and thriving faculty.
Greenbank High School is a highly successful school with excellent relationships with the local community. It was judged ‘Outstanding’ at its last inspection in November 2010 and converted to an Academy status in November 2011. It is an 11-16 girls’ school with 947 pupils on role.
The Science department aims to make Science exciting, relevant and accessible to all our students. We are committed to fully developing students’ confidence in their own abilities and strive to demonstrate that the subject is rich, challenging and enjoyable.
The department currently consists of 9 experienced teaching staff and all laboratories have been modernised and refurbished in recent years. The department is well resourced with books and equipment and we have 2 full time science technicians.
