Litherland High School has been recognised by Ofsted as a 'Good' school in April 2024 and the report states that “Pupils are proud to attend Litherland High School. They appreciate the commitment and care that staff display for them each day. This helps pupils to feel safe, happy and valued in school.” Our ambition for our students and our caring and nurturing approach to education within and beyond the classroom contributes to what makes our school a special place both for both staff and students. Oftsed also stated that “Staff feel well supported by leaders in terms of their workload and well-being.”

Our school is very popular, oversubscribed and full of first choices. We have had no supply teachers for 5 years. Staff attendance is excellent and staff love working at our school with only 3/90 staff leaving in the last 18 months. We have 50% Pupil Premium and 25% SEND. Our students are amazing. We hope that you will love our school as much as we do. This is a very exciting time to join our school as we continue our journey to become an outstanding school.
