Teacher of Science

Solihull Academy is a free school, which opened in April 2018, catering for up to 110 Year 9 -11 pupils that will ensure all students across the Local Authority have access to a high-quality alternative educational provision.

Situated in Solihull, just minutes off junction 4 of the M42, the new alternative provision Academy provides a safe, well-ordered, caring and highly supportive learning environment that will deliver high-quality education to students who need a more closely-focused learning solution. The use of outstanding, inspiring teaching and clear, consistent guidance and support plays a pivotal role in helping each child fulfil their maximum potential for growth, self-worth, and self-control.  Our students benefit from small class sizes where an emphasis is placed on a personalised approach to learning.

We are seeking to recruit an effective, creative and passionate Teacher of Science to help drive forward Teaching and Learning and have a real impact for our students.  The successful candidate will have excellent subject knowledge and strong behaviour management skills and be able to motivate students through inspirational teaching. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented teacher to join a new Academy. The successful applicant will join a team of teachers and must be able to teach Key Stage 3 and 4 Science.
