Job overview

Vision for Education are looking to recruit a Teacher of Science on behalf of a school in South Tyneside. Staff at the school have high aspirations for every child; helping them develop confidence in their own ability. They are looking for an outstanding classroom practitioner to join them as part of their dedicated Science department. The successful candidate will be required to teach General Science across KS3 and KS4. The school are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic teacher who can demonstrate excellence through high quality teaching and learning.

The appointed person must have a Science qualification, be able to clearly communicate their passion for the subject, and engage successfully with learners. They must also be committed to achievement, and work with resilience to ensure learners’ progress towards targets is met or exceeded.

The position will start on 4th January 2017 and will continue for two terms.

This position is to cover a maternity.
