Job overview

We are looking for a teacher of Science to join our Department within this popular 11–18 comprehensive school. Standards are high, and the department is committed to developing the potential of every pupil in its care to be able to teach across the full age and ability range. A specialism in any of the three areas would be considered. Applications are welcome from NQTs or experienced staff. 

We currently have twelve teaching staff and two full-time technicians. There are eight laboratories, one of which has access to an ICT suite, plus one Sixth Form Science classroom. All laboratories are equipped with PC projectors and interactive whiteboard and wireless internet access is available for pupils and staff in each laboratory.

We are committed to professional development and will ensure all necessary support and training is given to help you flourish as a teacher and support continual professional development in all aspects of your role.
