The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and dynamic classroom practitioner able to engage students with their passion for Science. Either an NQT, or someone who is looking for opportunities for career development. The ability to teach Physics is desirable and there may be a TLR position for a suitable candidate.
With 11 laboratories, each teacher has their own classroom to assist the personalisation of their learning environment. This includes a separate block of labs resourced for 6th form teaching. All classrooms have interactive whiteboards and we are well resourced to cover all needs for a broad curriculum coverage. Students achieve well at GCSE where both Separate and Trilogy award qualifications are made available and A-level where all three Sciences are offered.
