This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and committed teacher to join the Science department at Rayner Stephens High School. Required from September 2019, we wish to appoint an enthusiastic, dynamic and highly motivated teacher. We are looking for a candidate to join this dynamic team, with the ability and passion to secure and sustain outstanding teaching and learning alongside promoting excellence, inclusion and high expectations for all learners in this subject area. The successful applicant will join the school at a pivotal point in its development with a fast paced improvement already well underway. You will be joining a highly committed team of professionals who are passionate about raising standards and who are determined to further develop the school’s performance and enhance learning outcomes for all learners.

A TLR may be available for an additional Pastoral role for the right candidate. Joseph Rayner Stephens was a local 19th Century reformer and educationalist who fought and championed the rights of the working class in the Dukinfield area. He was a person of ideas, always guided by his deep and strongly held values.
