The Ian Ramsey Church of England Academy is a popular, over-subscribed academy for 11-16 students in Stockton on Tees. There are approximately 1175 students on roll with a pan of 237 in each year group.
Required for September, an outstanding Teacher of Science with the ability to teach Physics or Chemistry an advantage. The successful applicant will have excellent interpersonal skills and will together with members of the Science Department, maintain a relentless focus on teaching and learning and raising achievement. This position would be suitable for either an experienced teacher or an NQT. Our examination results are strong. The Academy is committed to the well-being of its staff and there is a comprehensive induction programme. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff to share this commitment. The successful applicant will be subject to enhanced clearance through the Disclosure and Barring Service.

Ian Ramsey Church of England Academy is a mixed, non-selective Church of England secondary school in Stockton-on-Tees, serving pupils from the age of 11-16. The Academy is situated in Fairfield and has approximately 1,180 pupils on roll.
It is a member of The Northern Lights Learning Trust which is recognised by the Department for Education as a Centre of Excellence as a Teaching School Hub and as an Early Years Stronger Practice Hub for the North East.
