We are currently looking to appoint an enthusiastic Teacher of Science to deliver Science at KS3 and 4 level. The successful candidate will be able to motivate and inspire our students whilst being flexible, understanding and patient in their practice. We are looking for someone who enjoys working as part of a team and is dedicated to helping young people achieve to the best of their abilities.

Job Description:

• Competent to teach Science at KS3 and KS4 Level.
• Be able to devise and deliver a personalised learning programme as part of a teaching team.
• Be able to accurately assess and evidence progress to ensure every student is engaged in their learning.
• Be a tutor to individual students an give tutorial support.
• Have a patient and consistent attitude and good classroom management skills.
• An understanding of working with young people with special educational needs such as ASD, ADHD or social, emotional and mental health difficulties an advantage.
• QTS desirable but not essential.
