Job overview
The Cam Academy Trust is a multi-academy trust which operates a group of secondary and primary schools across Cambridgeshire.
We are currently looking to recruit for a number of secondary science teaching roles. We are seeking to recruit teachers who would like to be based in a particular school, but potentially also teachers who would be interested in working in more than one secondary school across the Trust. Our secondary schools include:
· Comberton Village College
· Cambourne Village College
· Melbourn Village College
· St Peters School, Huntingdon
As a Trust, our ethos is aspirational and inclusive, our employees are highly motivated and our pupils courteous and hard-working. Our multi-academy trust is growing and we are looking for people to work with us who will share our commitment to providing education of the highest standard for all pupils, rooted at the heart of the community.
Joining The Cam Academy Trust represents a unique opportunity to work in a high-quality and expanding Academy Trust that gives excellent possibilities for professional and career development.
Our science teams are innovative, passionate and fully committed teams of teachers who strive to engage and inspire students. We work together to ensure best practice and resources are shared. Schemes of work and assessments are shared and appropriately adapted to suit the context of each school, whilst joint STEM activities, links with primary schools and cross trust training days offer a variety of exciting professional development opportunities.
Salaries are paid on the teachers main scale. TLRs are available for candidates in a position to take on needed responsibilities. We are offering permanent full-time contracts, but will also consider fixed-term contracts and part-time contracts. We are looking for people to start in September 2018 (or possibly before if available).
For more information about our Trust and application details please visit our website www.catrust.co.uk. Details of our individual schools can be found on their individual websites. Visits to the maths departments are welcome by arrangement.
The Cam Academy Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all employees and volunteers to share this commitment. This position is a regulated activity and an enhanced DBS check will be required.
