TEACHER OF SCIENCE
MPS/UPS, London Fringe Pay Scale
Required for April 2019, an enthusiastic teacher of Science to join our Science department.
The Bromfords School and Sixth Form College is a school where students achieve well and are part of a strong, caring community. Our school’s ambition was recognised by Ofsted in May 2016 when it was stated that, “School leaders are ambitious. They want the school to become outstanding and they are doing the right things to achieve this.”
In 2018, our A Level results place us in the top 25% of schools nationally with 45% of grades at A*B and two students securing a place at Cambridge University. We also continue to deliver strong outcomes in vocational courses.
The successful candidate will join a supportive Science team and continue the excellent work already underway. The Science Department currently consists of ten full time teachers and four subject specific technicians, who are clearly focused on raising standards of teaching to “outstanding” and ensuring all pupils make excellent progress.
You will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Excellent subject knowledge
- Ability to build positive working relationships with students and staff
- Passion for delivering outstanding teaching practice
We are keen to appoint dedicated staff who are eager to support our students to achieve in all aspects of their school life and who want to be key contributors to our school’s success. We welcome applications from teachers at any stage of their careers, including NQTs.
We encourage visits from prospective candidates to meet members of our school community and to experience our school at first hand. If you would like to do this please contact Ann Pullin, PA to the Headteacher on 01268 627848 or via email to email@example.com

The Bromfords School and Sixth Form College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
