Teacher of Science (full time, temporary contract in the first instance)
R&R available for outstanding candidates
TLR also available
Required from September 2019 (or earlier if possible)
The Headteacher and Governors of this successful and popular 11-18 co-educational, all-ability school are seeking to appoint two inspirational, enthusiastic and committed practitioners for our Science Department. The Department offers the full range of experience from KS3 to KS5. The new Head of Department is determined that the curriculum area will be outstanding and this is an exciting time to join the school and Science.
In 2016 the school was judged inadequate, however, results have significantly improved and the staff team are relentless in their drive to be recognised as outstanding - do you feel able to join us in our exciting journey?
You will be an outstanding classroom teacher capable of inspiring both students and staff to reach the highest levels of achievement, regardless of background. Science is at the forefront of our drive to be the best we can be – and consequently your career path to date is less important to this application than your positive mind set, imaginative approach and desire to succeed. The ability to offer three Sciences at KS4 is essential, the ability to teach animal care at level 2 and level 3 would be advantageous.
Further details are available from the Headteacher’s PA, Mrs S Turner, email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
