We have high expectations of all our students and aim to provide them with the best teaching and support that a dedicated staff can offer.  We are both demanding and liberal and want our students to develop into articulate and confident young people with clear personal and professional goals.

Our multi-academy trust is growing so we are looking for people to work with us who will share our commitment to excellence, innovation and collaboration.

The Science Faculty at CAP consists of a successful group of teachers delivering KS3 Science, GCSEs in Biology, Chemistry and Physics, the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme and A-Levels. There is a strong emphasis on teaching the three sciences separately, with a number of students taking Triple Science at GCSE. The Trust offers a wide range of enrichment activities for students around STEM and makes the most of the school’s proximity to the University of Cambridge Science Faculty.

About United Learning Cambridge Cluster

United Learning is a large, and growing, group of schools aiming to offer a life changing education to children and young people across England.

Our schools work as a team and achieve more by sharing than any single school could. Our subject specialists, our Group-wide intranet, our own curriculum and our online learning portal all help us share knowledge and resources, helping to simplify work processes and manage workloads for an improved work-life balance.

The Cambridge cluster of United Learning comprises: three secondary schools - Coleridge, Parkside and Trumpington; The Galfrid, a primary school; and Cambridge Academy for Science and Technology, a specialist 13-19 academy. We work closely together to realise our goal of ensuring the best possible education for our students.

Staff collaborate across the cluster to ensure the schools bring out the best in everyone. We have a shared team of support staff with a focus on delivering excellent services. Our community benefits from access to specialist facilities across the schools, while our combined extra curricular offer promotes our commitment to education with character.

Our staff tell us that they think our cluster provides a great community to work in and to develop their career - within the wider United Learning group we aim to offer you unrivalled professional development and the opportunity to work as part of a team where your contribution is really valued.
