The British School of Bahrain is committed to providing a high quality, international education for expatriate and local students in the Kingdom of Bahrain. We are a selective, coeducational, independent Nursery-through-Year 13 school. Our curriculum is based on the National Curriculum for England and Wales, with some adaptations to the local context and offers IGCSE and A Level/BTEC examinations. Teacher of SEN (Primary)
We are seeking an outstanding, committed and energetic teacher to join as Teacher of SEN starting in this AY 2019. The candidate must be a team player and must have a passion to achieve high levels of learning.
We are looking for a reflective practitioner who has:
● Enhanced disclosure from the DBS or equivalent, and who are committed to the welfare of all children
● A relevant SEN degree and PGCE or B. ED or the equivalent. This must be in the subject you apply to teach.
● Successful experience of Infant teaching experience (Year 1 up to Year 6)
● Confidence with the use of IT in teaching
● High expectations and aspirations for all students
● A commitment to the overall development of young people
Previous teaching experience in a high-performing international school is an advantage.
