Ulverston Victoria High School is a happy and thriving 11-18 school and sixth form and is at the heart of the community in the picturesque South Lakeland market town of Ulverston.

From 1st September 2023, we are seeking to appoint an exceptional and inspirational teacher to permanently join our team to deliver either Business Studies, Law or Sociology up to and including Key Stage 5. The teaching in the faculty is innovative and lively, with students developing respect for and sensitivity to others. Social Science staff collaborate on cross subject projects and lead whole school initiatives.

The Social Sciences Faculty is comprised of five subjects (Business Studies, Law, Psychology, Sociology and Media Studies) all of which are popular A level choices. AQA is the examination board used Business Studies, Law and Sociology.

We welcome applications from professional, effective and motivated ECTs and experienced teachers, who are keen to join our high performing team at Ulverston Victoria High School.  A full and appropriate induction programme is available for all ECTs.
