The Grammar School at Leeds (GSAL) have an exciting new position for an inspirational and well-qualified teacher of social sciences to join our successful department from September 2018. This will be on a full time or part time basis by negotiation to suit the successful candidate.
Psychology is offered at A-level and has a healthy uptake of pupils who gain strong results (as measured by value added outcomes). The department has successfully navigated their way through the linear course, following the AQA specification. Sociology has been offered for first teaching in September 2108, also following the AQA specification.
We are seeking an enthusiastic classroom teacher who is committed to the teaching of social sciences to our A-level students. The successful candidate will also have strong classroom management skills and will be expected to play a full part in this busy department.
