Teacher of Social Studies 

We are looking to appoint someone to lead on the development and implementation of statutory Social Studies provision.

Alderwood School is committed to high quality and progressive work in this area. A key responsibility will be leading a review of the curriculum in light of the recent guidance on Sex and Relationships Education and Personal, Social and Health Education, as well as Careers and Religious Education.

The successful applicant will:

· Be willing to contribute to the wider school curriculum

· Be a fully qualified, experienced teacher with appropriate post graduate qualification

· Have relevant experience teaching Social Studies/PSHE

· Have strong knowledge of the National Curriculum
