We are seeking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic teacher to teach A Level Sociology and/or WJEC Criminology. The successful candidate will be an inspirational teacher, able to demonstrate a passion for your subject area and the ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities in the 16-19 age range. With a demonstrable record of good or outstanding results, you will have a commitment to raising aspirations and achievement and supporting the wider college community. If you are currently undertaking initial teacher training you will have demonstrated outstanding potential and aptitude for post-16 teaching.
New College Bradford is a 16-19 free school which opened in September 2019, initially with 550 students, rising to 1200 by September 2021. The college sits within the New Collaborative Learning Trust, a multi-academy trust established by New College Pontefract (an Ofsted outstanding provider). New College Pontefract, New College Doncaster and New College Bradford work closely together, presenting exciting opportunities for collaboration, support, development and progression. We believe that students at New College Bradford should enjoy high-quality teaching and learning underpinned by a culture of high expectations, challenge and support, both for students and staff, which will enable young people in Bradford to secure high-quality qualifications to support them into employment, training and higher education.
