The successful applicant will join an enthusiastic and committed Humanities team of teachers who contribute significantly to the development of pupils’ personal and civic responsibility. The ability to teach KS5 Sociology, KS4 Citizenship or Religious Studies and a KS3 Humanities subject (History, Geography or RS) is desirable.

Norwood is a good school with outstanding Leadership. 2017 exam results were above average and placed Norwood in the top 5% of schools nationally for progress. Central to all of our work is the determination to ensure that all pupils, including those form disadvantaged backgrounds, succeed academically (OFSTED Dec 2017).

Norwood School is a fantastic place to work and learn, especially as a newly qualified teacher.
