We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate, dedicated, motivated and innovative Teacher of Sociology to join our Humanities Faculty at Howard of Effingham School. We are looking for an inspirational teacher with the ability to create a nurturing learning environment, together with a commitment to bringing out the best in every student, as well as meeting Teacher Standards. The ability to teach to A Level is essential.
You will be fully supported both within the faculty and by the senior leadership team. Our outstanding staff and students make us a great place to work. We all share the same goal at The Howard, to bring out the best in our young people. As a result, students achieve highly and make very good progress. Our teaching staff are highly qualified and all are graduates or teachers with specialist qualifications in their respective subject areas. The Headteacher is supported by a team of senior leaders and curriculum areas are led by Heads of Faculty and Subject Leaders.
