Are you ready for a fresh challenge? Due to the expansion of Social Studies, we are looking to appoint an excellent teacher to make a substantial contribution to the delivery of Sociology and Criminology.
The two subjects are very popular at college and many students progress to degree level in these disciplines. The post offers an outstanding opportunity for a new entrant to the profession or an established Sixth Form or FE teacher seeking a new opportunity. The governors are committed to appointing the best candidate to teach Sociology and Criminology and can provide an exclusive sixth form or alternatively a whole school professional experience depending on the successful candidate.
Whilst colleagues may be on different pay scales the governors will ensure that all relevant experience counts in the remuneration package when moving towards School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions.
Full details of the post, including the CES Teacher application form and associated documents are available to download from the vacancy section of the school’s website www.st-maryshigh.wigan.sch.uk
Completed applications should be returned by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org addressed to Mr Dawson, Headteacher.

Interviews will be scheduled as soon as possible after the closing date.
