Teachers Pay Scale
Required for August 2017, we wish to appoint an enthusiastic and well qualified teacher of Sociology & Psychology to join a dedicated and experienced Humanities Department. The successful applicant will be highly motivated and innovative, with the ability to teach A Level Sociology. They will also be able to contribute to the teaching of A Level Psychology and/or BTEC Level 3 Level Health and Social Care. An enthusiasm for teaching and learning, team work and a contemporary knowledge of Social Science is essential.
Wreake Valley is a popular mixed 11 – 19 Academy on the outskirts of North West Leicestershire. Our most recent Ofsted Inspection in 2014 graded the school as ‘Good’ in all areas. The Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people. We expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will need to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure via the DBS.
