Teacher of SPANISH and FRENCH

Dayspring Trust is a strong Church of England Multi-Academy Trust, with Secondary Schools in Stockton and Sunderland. We are currently in the process of a merger to bring Dayspring Trust and Northern Lights Learning Trust together in Spring 2023, so this is an exciting time to join us.Ian Ramsey Church of England Academy is a popular, over-subscribed academy for 11-16 pupils in Stockton-on-Tees. There are approximately 1170 pupils on roll with a pan of 237 in each year group.

Required for April 2023 (or sooner) start, an outstanding Teacher of Modern Languages. The successful applicant will have excellent interpersonal skills and will together with members of the Languages team, maintain a relentless focus on teaching and learning and raising achievement. The Academy is committed to the well-being of its staff and there is a comprehensive induction programme. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff to share this commitment. The successful applicant will be subject to enhanced clearance through the Disclosure and Barring Service.

Ian Ramsey Church of England Academy is a mixed, non-selective Church of England secondary school in Stockton-on-Tees, serving pupils from the age of 11-16. The Academy is situated in Fairfield and has approximately 1,180 pupils on roll. 

It is a member of The Northern Lights Learning Trust which is recognised by the Department for Education as a Centre of Excellence as a Teaching School Hub and as an Early Years Stronger Practice Hub for the North East.
