King Edward's School is seeking a well-qualified and full-time teacher of Spanish with the ability to communicate enthusiasm for language learning to pupils of all ages and abilities. The successful candidate will be able to teach Spanish up to IB Higher Level and will also be able to teach a second language to at least Key Stage 3.
King Edward’s is one of the most interesting, diverse and intellectually ambitious independent schools in the country, situated in a green ‘oasis’ close to the heart of England’s second city; both the school and the city are at an exciting stage of development.
This post affords an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to launch a career or for a more experienced teacher to join an exceptional team.
The school teaches IGCSE and the International Baccalaureate Diploma (although IB experience is not essential for this post), and the salary scale is significantly above the state sector.
Further details and an application form can be found on the school’s website, www.kes.org.uk
Applications, including a letter and a completed application form, should be sent by email to Becky Smith, HR Manager at email@example.com.
Closing Date: Noon on Monday 15 January 2018
King Edward’s School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and all applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service.
