The Spanish department here consists of nine teachers, most of whom also teach another language, and three full time language assistants. Join us, and, as well as teaching at GCSE/IGCSE and A/IB level, you will be able to play a full role in the running and extra-curricular life of the department, as well as the pastoral life of the college.

Teaching a standard timetable allocation, setting and marking examinations, contributing to off-timetable workshops, seminars etc, and playing your part in sporting activities, social events and school trips – all are aspects of a role that will also see you actively safeguard and promote the welfare of children.

A great opportunity to make the most of your knowledge of Spanish culture through engaging lessons, trips, competitions and a range of activities, you will need a degree (or higher) in a directly related subject. We will also be looking for thorough knowledge of the Spanish Curriculum at all levels and the ability to teach another language (ideally French, German or Russian) to IGCSE level or above.
