We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, inspirational and well-qualified Teacher of Spanish to join a highly successful and innovative team. The successful candidate will be passionate about teaching, committed to delivering high standards of teaching and learning and thrive on the responsibility of teaching across all Key Stages up to Key Stage 5. The ability to teach French or German as a second language would be desirable.

This is a lively and successful Modern Languages Team of two full time teachers and six part-time teachers. The emphasis is on teamwork, co-operation and developing approaches and resources which further the students’ enjoyment of MFL and enable them to achieve high standards. The team uses a large range of interactive teaching resources and colleagues contribute a wide variety of their own additional resources, worksheets and visual aids.
All members of the team teach two foreign languages to at least KS3, an essential ability in such a large school. Students are entered for the AQA GCSE examinations. A level candidates will also be entered for the AQA examinations. The students consistently achieve well across all three languages and many continue their study of languages at University.
