We are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic and committed senior school Spanish Teacher to join the Modern Languages team. Operating within a well-resourced, cohesive and popular department, the post holder will be required to lead the Spanish section of the department and teach this popular subject to Years 9 to 13 from late August 2020. They will plan, prepare and deliver engaging, challenging and fully inclusive Spanish lessons from Year 9 to Year 13, including GCSE and A-level Spanish. Experience of the current AQA specifications would be highly desirable.

All candidates should be registered or eligible for registration with the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS).

About Gordonstoun

The School
Gordonstoun is known for the wide range of activities that it provides for girls and boys throughout the School's 6-18 age range. Location
Gordonstoun stands in 200 acres of woodland, within walking distance of sandstone cliffs and sandy beaches on the beautiful coast of the Moray Firth in Scotland. Six miles away is the historic city of Elgin. Lossiemouth nearby is well known for its picturesque harbour, fine golf courses and Royal Air Force Station. The City of Aberdeen is about 90 minutes drive away, while an hour's drive takes you to the ski resort of Aviemore at the foot of the Cairngorm Mountains. Inverness, the capital of the Highlands, is forty miles away and is itself only about an hour away from London (Gatwick) by air.
