A Spanish teacher is required for our rapidly improved academy which was judged as good by Ofsted in November 2016. You’ll be working with our ‘Principal of the Year’, Joy Ballard in our multi-million pound state-of-the-art new school building.

About our Academy 

Based on the Isle of Wight, Ryde Academy is an 11 to 18 years Secondary Academy and is sponsored by the Academies Enterprise Trust (AET).

The role

The ideal candidate will be ambitious, aiming for excellence and:

  • Should have a strong track record of raising attainment and achievement of every student in the subject or the ability to demonstrate you are developing outstanding practice, if an NQT.
  • Be a passionate advocate of the subject who contributes effectively to departmental and whole school improvement.
  • Have the ability to teach across the age and ability range at age 11-16.
