The Governing body are seeking to appoint a passionate Spanish teacher to join an outstanding school. Applications are welcomed from NQTs and experienced candidates.
King’s is an 11-18 school that was founded on traditional values. The school is highly regarded and significantly oversubscribed. In the 2020 national performance tables, King's is ranked in the top 2% of schools in the North West.
The Spanish faculty is forward thinking and has established a scholarly community, where innovative teachers develop talented students. The successful candidate will join a friendly team, who are committed to building on the department's historic success. The curriculum is innovative and knowledge-based, with students from year seven up to sixth form genuinely enjoying their Spanish lessons. Departmental schemes of work and materials are of a very high standard and support teacher work-life balance through minimal marking and research-informed pedagogy.
