We are seeking an inspirational classroom practitioner with strong subject knowledge to join our very successful MFL Department (90% were entered for a GCSE in MFL in 2018). It is desirable though not essential that the successful candidate can teach a second language. The school offers French, German and Mandarin alongside Spanish. The successful candidate will teach to GCSE. There is also an opportunity to teach A level.
Applications are invited from ITTs as well as colleagues that are more experienced. A favourable finance package is available for new entrants to the profession. As a Teaching School and our heritage as a Language College we can offer the successful candidate excellent support and professional development.
The Willink is a high performing and oversubscribed school. In 2018 two thirds achieved the 5+ grades 9-5 at GCSE and 30% achieved A*/A at A level. The school has 1080 students on roll including 160 in the Sixth Form, and is situated in a pleasant semi-rural setting south west of Reading.
