We are an experienced and motivated MFL department that look after our staff & help them to become the best that they can be.
We are preferably looking for an enthusiastic experienced teacher to work in our dynamic and successful MFL department and to teach Spanish to KS5 and French to KS3. The ideal candidate should be resourceful and committed, work well in a team and have an excellent subject knowledge. We are also looking for a teacher who is familiar with the new GCSE and A-Level MFL exams criteria.
The MFL team teaches the full range of ability for pupils aged 11 to 18. We are very proud of all the languages experiences and opportunities that are offered to our pupils and value their linguistic benefit to the curriculum. We also have Foreign Language Assistants to support each subject.
This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who has a passion for languages, can teach creatively and can inspire pupils.
We expect that you will have evidence of excellent classroom practice and high expectations of pupil attainment and, if overseas trained, we would need evidence that your professional qualifications are recognised by NARIC in the UK.
