LVS Hassocks is a multi-award-winning specialist school for young people aged 11-19 with a diagnosis of autism.

If you are a highly competent teacher of PE and are able to teach a variety of both team and individual sports, with energy and enthusiasm across a wide range of ages and abilities, we would like to hear from you. 

Experience of teaching and supporting students with special educational needs, particularly those who have a diagnosis of autism and associated disorders, is also desirable.

Class sizes are typically no larger than eight students and each class has a dedicated Learning Support Assistant. The role demands the application of specialised teaching approaches, systematic planning and record keeping and the management and deployment of support staff as well as good ICT skills. The Teacher will be a Tutor for a form group and support them with pastoral, parent contact and report writing duties including attending EHCP reviews.
