Trinity Academy is a highly oversubscribed free school that opened in 2019. We are a values based community that focuses on the learning of all students and staff, that cares deeply for our young people and each other and that is committed to co-curricular enrichment. Our stated goal is to be a +1 school for progress and as such, we are looking for a highly motivated, professional and well qualified teacher to join us in our mission.

This is a unique opportunity to join a team that is establishing a new school as we enter our third year. Curriculum and resources are co designed and the  outstanding behaviour of our students allows you to focus on the craft and science of teaching.

In 2021 we move into our new building - a £24 million bespoke school with fully equipped rooms for teaching Food Technology, Design Technology , Resistant Materials and Textiles. The appointed candidate will have a significant role in equipping these rooms to enable outstanding progress.


Applications are welcome from newly qualified or experienced teachers with the ability to teach Technology at KS3, GCSE and A Level. For an outstanding candidate there is also the opportunity for a TLR and/or to be an Specialist Leader of Education in the Teaching Schools Alliance of the Cathedral Schools Trust. We are interested in hearing from people who specialise in either Food Technology, Design Technology or Resistant Materials.
