We are looking for an inspirational individual with creativity, enthusiasm, sensitivity, resilience, strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to motivate young people.

Our students are hard-working and have a really positive attitude to learning. We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated professional who has a real love for their subject and the capacity to use creative approaches in their teaching. We are looking for someone who can adapt their skills through a range of disciplines throughout all Key Stages including Art, Textiles, Ceramics and Photography.

Tolworth Girls' School & Sixth Form is a thriving community Academy with a healthy and open attitude to progress and change. The Academy is at an exciting stage of development, with new buildings planned. The community provides a purposeful learning environment for both students and staff, stressing the importance of creativity, independence, celebration and empathy. GCSE progress is very good at TGS with most students achieving above average results. In 2016 we are in the top 20% of schools in England for attainment and progress.

Our sixth form students achieved another set of outstanding results in 2016, exceeding all targets set. 40% of A level entries achieved at least an A*-B. Nearly three quarters of all entries achieved at least a grade C.

This post is part time Maternity Cover required from September 2017.
