Teacher of Travel and Business (Maternity Cover – Up to 12 Months Fixed Term)

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic, innovative, and ambitious individual to join our team to deliver high quality teaching as a Teacher of Travel and Business at Strodes College. Sharing your skills and knowledge, you will utilise your experience to motivate students to achieve, whilst developing and maintaining high levels of student retention and attendance.

You will also develop ways of working that are responsive to learners’ needs, monitor and evaluate progress and practice. You will work to maintain student morale and discipline inside and outside the classroom and will also keep abreast of curriculum development, syllabus and assessment requirements.

The successful candidate will need to hold an appropriate degree and Level 2 English and Maths qualifications (or equivalent). In this role you will teach and support BTEC nationals, year 1 and year 2 Travel and Tourism and Level 2 Business students.
