The City of Stoke on Trent Sixth Form College is a thriving, lively and successful Sixth Form College, committed to social inclusion.  The College is located in an award-winning, state of the art building at the heart of the University Quarter of Stoke on Trent, adjacent to Stoke Railway Station, providing excellent travel links.  In addition, all STEM students are taught in the University Science Centre which provides access to sophisticated university standard facilities.  In September 2017, the College achieved academy status as part of the Potteries Educational Trust.  The Trust is working collaboratively with educational institutions from across Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire and beyond, seeking to improve outcomes for all children and young people in the region.  In October 2017, Ofsted Inspectors graded the College ‘Good’ with several excellent features and praised staff and students for creating a supportive learning community.  Inspectors were impressed with the relentless focus on continuing to improve the quality of teaching, learning and assessment, leading to our learners making good or excellent progress.  The College’s mission is ‘A caring community, delivering excellence and inspiring futures.’

Teacher of TV, Media and Film

(Part Time or Full Time; Permanent)

We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified, enthusiastic and supportive individual to teach a full range of media subjects. The successful applicant will be joining an innovative and creative team and be expected to deliver outstanding teaching and learning across all courses including GCSE Media Studies, A-level Media Studies, Level 3 BTEC TV and Film Production and the degree foundation year in Media, run in partnership with Staffordshire University.

Salary: £25,570 - £41,732 per annum
