From September we will be introducing an exciting new year 7 curriculum and we are looking for a primary trained teacher with an English specialism. Many of our students arrive not reaching the required secondary ready standard and our new year 7 curriculum is designed to enable students to catch up and be successful in their secondary school career.

You will have the ability to inspire, enthuse and encourage students to enjoy their learning, leading to a desire to achieve their highest potential. Clacton Coastal Academy (CCA) is a vibrant, forwarding thinking Academy for 11-19 year old students in West Clacton sponsored by Academies Enterprise Trust (AET). We are an ambitious learning community with high aspirations and expectations. There are 1200 students (over 200 in the sixth form) on roll at the academy and over 200 staff. At ‘A’ level we are part of the VI6 consortium providing ‘A’ level teaching hosted at the University of Essex.
