Creetown Primary School is a rural school located in a small village with extensive outdoor learning opportunities on the doorstep. Creetown is situated approximately 7 miles from Newton Stewart/25 miles from Castle Douglas. There are three teaching bases and the current roll sits at 51 pupils plus a Nursery which currently has 20 pupils.
Minnigaff Primary School is situated within the small market town of Newton Stewart and is located approximately 25 miles from Stranraer/35 miles from Castle Douglas. There are five teaching bases and the current roll sits at 100 pupils.
The post is temporary for a period of up to 1 year to cover maternity leave starting 11th December 2017. This post may be suitable for secondment. Agreement from your line manager must be sought before applying for this post.
