Richard de Clare Community Academy, Halstead, an enthusiastic, passionate and committed class teacher to join our teaching team. This is an exciting opportunity for a class teacher to join Richard de Clare Community Academy and to develop skills in a supportive school who have recently received a ‘Good’ judgement by Ofsted.

 We are looking to appoint a creative and motivated individual who holds the belief that every child has the potential to succeed and is excited to be part of our continuing journey of improvement. As part of a Multi Academy Trust that holds CPD at the highest possible regard we can offer a supportive programme for Early Career Teachers and a coaching programme to support ‘fast track into leadership’ for teachers with the desire for professional growth.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds the highest expectations for all children regardless of their backgrounds 
  • Is passionate and knowledgeable about teaching and learning
  • Has a good understanding of the effective teaching of phonics and early reading
  • Has a commitment to collaborative professional development
  • Is a reflective practitioner and actively seeks to improve their own practice
  • Will work effectively as part of a class, year group and phase group team
