We are a highly supportive school with strong subject and senior leadership to help you develop. The responsibilities held by the Second in PE will be decided once a suitable candidate has been appointed, but it is likely to include leadership of a Key Stage and Extra-Curricular provision across the Academy.

Physical Education is at the heart of the AVA curriculum with stage of the art facilities including a fully resourced 3G football pitch and an Astroturf hockey pitch under floodlights as well as MUGA, extensive fields and a well-resourced gym. The continued expansion of the school will also provide further opportunities for professional development.

Applicants must have a current driving licence and be able to drive a minibus or take a minibus driving test if appointed.
