North Ridge is a specialist support school for pupils with persistent and complex special educational needs, aged 11-19 years.We opened in September 2006. LEAD FOR STAFF TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT

Due to the expansion of North Ridge the Governors seek to appoint a dynamic, hard working individual to this post who will live up to our school motto of “do your best”. You will have significant experience as teacher of SEN pupils, experience of working in a special school is desirable but not essential.This role is part teaching.

• You will beable to teach pupils with special educational needs.
• You will be able to show that you can develop skills as a middle manager, be an excellent teacher and have aspirations to develop your leadership skills further.
• You will be responsible for leading and evaluating the staff development and training programme in the school
• A committment to team work is an essential attribute.
