TEACHER – KS2 TO KS4

Full-Time, Term Time Only, Permanent

We are ISP. Our School is an Independent Specialist Provision, serving children and young people (CYP) in Kent and Medway who live with either their families, foster carers or in residential children’s homes. The school is set on Our school is for CYP with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs (SEMH) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). We aim to provide high quality education for pupils who have not been able to sustain mainstream education by taking a holistic approach in our daily practice for each young person in need.

ISP School is looking for a caring, enthusiastic and creative Teacher open to learning new skills, with a patient attitude to sensitively working with vulnerable young people. We are looking for a person with a desire to contribute to the development of the school, has high aspirations for all children and young people and a desire to raise standards. The work is both challenging and rewarding in equal measure, as the children and young people we work with have SEMH and other complex needs.

Due to the support we can offer, this position could suit an NQT, however all qualified applicants will be considered on their merits.

Successful candidates will  be experienced and successful SEN Teachers who enjoy team work and taking responsibility, NQT’s who can demonstrate a willingness to work hard and contribute fully to their professional development, or mainstream Teachers who have a desire and passion to move to special needs teaching.

For more information and an informal discussion please contact Carole Cox (Head Teacher) on 07469 148 409.

To be considered please do apply and someone will be in touch.
